Can Elvis Live again? The short answer is yes. How?
Elvis Presley is immortalized in film and it is from that medium we can seemingly summon him back to life in a holographic effect. Elvis or anyone for that matter can be electronically removed from their background. What matters is quality of film and lighting. Real life characters can interact with filmed elements to create a very realistic illusion. The only real limitation is your imagination.
If John Pepper could see his invention now, he'd be amazed at how little it has changed. Since that time, the effect has been used many times for various purposes including Disneyland's Haunted Mansion.
In our version, we borrow from John Pepper's original idea but use foils that were not available to him at that time. Our foils are unique in size and appear invisible to viewers. You can also use live shots to create a live interaction with characters on a stage. The most recent demonstration was with Cisco Systems in which a live person from many thousands of miles away was interacting with a live person on the stage.
